Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B. V. R. C. Purushottam reviewed the progress of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) with District Magistrates through video conference. He directed all districts to complete the digitisation of enumeration forms at the earliest and to re-verify voters marked under the “Uncollectible” category. DEOs and EROs were also instructed to review the ASD/SSD lists booth-wise, while districts nearing completion of digitisation were asked to begin preparations for the reorganisation of polling stations.
More than 99% of enumeration forms have been distributed across the state, while digitisation has crossed 92%. Almora and Champawat have completed digitisation, with other districts also showing strong progress. The CEO appreciated the efforts of all districts and encouraged officials to maintain the pace and complete the remaining work efficiently.
