Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B. V. R. C. Purushottam appealed to voters across Uttarakhand to actively cooperate with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Under the door-to-door exercise, BLOs are reaching every household to distribute enumeration forms. Voters are requested to provide their latest passport-size photograph with the form. To assist voters who may not be available at home, the “Book a Call with BLO” facility is also available through the ECI voter services portal and ECI-Net app.
The Chief Electoral Officer emphasised that the SIR process should remain convenient and accessible for every voter. BLOs have been directed to make repeated visits where voters are unavailable and ensure proper communication regarding subsequent visits. Eligible citizens who are not currently enrolled can also contact their BLO and submit Form 6 for inclusion in the electoral roll. The exercise aims to ensure that every eligible voter gets an opportunity to participate in the revision process.
