Chief Electoral Officer, Uttarakhand, Dr. B. V. R. C. Purushottam welcomed Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar during his visit to Uttarkashi. He held detailed discussions with the Chief Election Commissioner regarding the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign in the state, including its implementation and progress at the field level.
The discussions also covered the SIR work being undertaken in the border district of Uttarkashi, along with polling arrangements in remote areas. The visit provided an opportunity to review the campaign on the ground and strengthen efforts towards a smooth and inclusive revision process.
