Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B. V. R. C. Purushottam and Deputy Election Commissioner Shri Sanjay Kumar reviewed the progress of enumeration form distribution and digitisation with District Magistrates. The CEO directed districts to complete 100% form distribution within the stipulated timeline and to accelerate digitisation wherever distribution has been completed. Booth-wise progress should be regularly reviewed, with additional support deployed at booths where work is moving slowly.

To strengthen voter verification, BLOs and BLAs were directed to jointly visit the homes of voters who were not available and make three mandatory visits. BLOs must also record field findings on the enumeration forms for voters identified as Absent, Shifted, Deceased or Duplicate. Lists of voters who remain unavailable after the prescribed process should also be shared with the concerned BLAs to support verification and ensure that no eligible voter is left out.
