In the early stages of my career, I could see the way education and health care are imparted in India. This experience helped in drafting the new National Education Policy of India which is widely accepted by all stakeholders.<\/p>\n
As Private Secretary (Chief of staff) to three Union Minister’s was responsible for active policymaking. Drafted the Civil Aviation Policy, Tourism Policy and National education Policy (NEP). Actively involved in coordinating multiple teams for the implementation of NEP-2020.<\/p>\n
As Deputy Secretary and Director in Government of India worked actively on Policy-Making issues and amendment of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Prevention of Money Laundering Laws.<\/p>\n
Altogether I worked in 5 Ministries in the Government of India, giving me a wide exposure to the functioning of the Government.<\/p>\n
Public Policy is my core strength and to hone the skills pursued Masters in Public Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley.<\/p>\n
As District Magistrate for 5 years in Districts having a population of 2 million, was responsible for Development int the districts, Policy Implementation of flagship schemes of Government of India and maintenance of peace and order.<\/p>\n
When the Kedarnath Disaster struck in 2013, the Government of Uttarakhand has nominated me as Relief Commissioner to Kedarnath.<\/p>\n
Worked at C- Suite level as CEO of Uttarakhand Micro Finance Bank, Managing Director of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited and Vice Chairman of Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority.<\/p>\n
Also worked in Indian Police Service and Indian Postal Service thus having a wide knowledge of the functioning of the two departments.<\/p>\n
Silver Medal from Government of India and Appreciation letter received from Election Commission of India. Selected as a Kishore Vaigyanik Portsahan Yojana (KVPY) fellow during Under Graduation.<\/p>\n
