  • Conducted and attained incident-free Member of Parliament Elections held in 2014 for 12,58,495 eligible voters as Returning Officer for District Dehradun.
  • Operationalized two “Generic Medicine Stores” in Doon Hospital and Rishikesh Hospital, thus reducing the prices of medicines for people.
  • Ensured admission of 4,000 children in good public schools under below poverty line under the Right to Education Act.
  • Executed1098 Child Helpline in the district and ensured timely response is delivered to the problems of 4,51,320 children in the district.
  • Designed and initiated the “Anti-Polythene Campaign” Dehradun city was made polythene free in 6 months in collaboration with local shopkeepers, the model later adopted by the Uttarakhand State to make it Polythene free state.
  • Invented a model to provide alternate employment to beggars resulting in Dehradun city as a part of an anti-begging campaign to make Dehradun a “Beggar Free City”. The children of Beggars were ensured education through collaboration with non-governmental organizations.
  • Conducted the Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival-2014 for the first time by raising Rs. 20 million. Carnival is continued, and the recently concluded 6th edition is testimony to it.
